私隱政策聲明

漢林國語教育中心承諾保障你的私隱及個人資料,符合及遵守香港法例的規定。本聲明是根據中華人民共和國香港特別行政區《個人資料(私隱)條例》第486章而作出。

目的

本聲明是要告知  閣下有關本公司收集、使用、保留、公開、轉讓、保障及查閱個人資料的政策及措施。

漢林國語教育中心承諾確保 閣下的私隱受到保護。如果我們要求 閣下提供某些資料,讓 閣下在使用本網站時給我們識別到 閣下的身分,則 閣下可被確保有關資料只會按照此私隱政策予以運用。


我們會收集甚麼資料

我們會收集以下資料:

  • 姓名

  • 聯絡資料,包括電郵地址及電話

  • 個人資料,如居住國家、嗜好及興趣

  • 其他與客戶調查及/或優惠有關的資料

  • 你的小朋友過去及現在的教育背境,例如學校名稱或所讀的興趣班等等

  • 小朋友出生日期


我們會如何處理收集到的資料

我們需要這些資料來了解 閣下的需要,並向 閣下提供更佳服務,具體原因如下:

  • 保留內部記錄

  • 改善我們的產品及改進我們的服務

  • 發出有關新產品、特別優惠或我們認為 閣下會有興趣的其他資訊的宣傳電郵至 閣下所提供的電郵地址聯絡閣下進行市場調查。我們可通過電郵、電話、短訊、傳真或郵件聯絡閣下 。


安全

我們為確保 閣下的資料安全,並為避免未獲授權的存取或披露,已採取適當程序,以保障及保護我們在網上收集到的資料。

我們如何運用cookies

Data collected by Hanlin Mandarin will be shared with Babington Education Organisation Limited.

  • To send promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided.

You may request details of personal information which we hold about you under the Ordinance. A small fee will be payable. If you would like a copy of the information held on you please email us at info@babington.edu.hk

If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please email us as soon as possible. We will promptly update the information accordingly.

We may change this policy from time to time by updating this page without notice. You should check this page from time to time to ensure that you are aware of those changes.

Video Monitoring

1. Video-monitoring facilities are installed within all Hanlin Mandarin Centres. All the video-monitoring facilities are in 24-hour automatic working mode. The locations of the surveillance cameras are classrooms, common areas, reception area, entrances and exits.

2. Purposes of video monitoring

Babington conducts video monitoring, with the following aims and objectives:  To safeguard Babington's assets/properties and other legitimate interests;  To protect employees’ and students 'safety and other legitimate interests;  To appraise employees and students’ behaviour;  To facilitate academic and research activities;  To collect data regarding activities held on campus.

3. Personal data collected from video monitoring

All the images in front of the camera lens, the corresponding dates and time will be recorded automatically by the video monitoring facilities and relevant technology adopted by Babington.

4. Use of personal data collected from video monitoring

Designated Babington personnel reserve the right to access all the data collected for the mentioned purposes.

5. Designated personnel with access to the data processed from monitoring

The personnel who are responsible for security monitoring are authorized to observe the immediate records, but they are prohibited to retrieve any of the past records; only designated Babington personnel have the right to view and retrieve both the immediate and past records. They all have the obligation to observe the rules set in this Statement and to keep all the data confidential.  In case of disciplinary investigations, the relevant data may be transferred to the personnel who are responsible for disciplinary investigations.  In case of criminal investigations, the data has to be passed on to the relevant competent authorities upon their requests.

6. Data retention period

The above data will generally be retained for less than one month after the investigation and/or the verdict of the trial is completed.

7. Consequences of Violation

Any person who violates this Statement is liable to punishments, including the possibility of dismissal.

8. Rights of employees and students

In accordance with the law, employees and students have the right to information, the right of access and the right to object. The request for exercising the right of access has to be done in writing, subject to a reasonable fee.
